Hi, my name is Douwe Dresscher and I am the founder of Avatars.Report.
My passion is to better understand how and why things work, digest this and present it into manageable chunks for others to learn.
By training and profession, I am a professor in tele-robotics, with over 10 years of experience in tele-robotics and avatar technology research, development and teaching. Now, I am making my knowledge and experience available for you.
As associate scientific director of i-Botics, I was one of the initiators and drivers for the participation of i-Botics in the ANA Avatar XPRIZE. During the competition, I lead the work on manipulation and locomotion.
